A Turtle Walking Through the Grass

A turtle walking through the grass
Choosing each step with measured gait,
Allowing time and doubt to pass,
And taking time to pause and wait. 

Choosing each step with measured gait,
A man takes time to reminisce.
And taking time to pause and wait
He might find something he would miss. 

A man takes time to reminisce.
Allowing time and doubt to pass,
He might find something he would miss:
A turtle! Walking through the grass.
