A Turning Point In Time

I don’t remember the loneliness
taking refuge inside me
and becoming
part of my story.

I don’t remember the season
or the way the sun
lit the earth then.

But there was a man
in a car full of dogs.
He said there were
people somewhere
with free flowers.

I hope you found him and that his flowers shined the light of joy into your life again.
