A Truth

Tonight I’m filled with peace
Darkness cannot touch me
All I feel is relief
And I never want to move

I guess that’s why troubles come
To keep us from growing still
To prod us along this path of life
And grow us into the heroes of light

For if the choice were mine to make
This is where I’d forever be
Not fighting to climb that mountain
But resting near this sea

Great write. I just got hit by a wave of serenity. I climbed onto my rooftop one night and a metor shower happened. The way I felt that night, I didn't want to end.
