A True Heart

without heart, without sight,
how can we dodge the darts to fight,
Lord, i cannot stand to see,
a true heart made a mockery,
each one of us different, all made in your image,
through your love, in your eyes,
some able to see the difference,
to further us Lord, to keep us strong,
to not stay blind to what we may see is wrong,
but to uphold your love, to be still in it and rest,
and through the strength of your love pray against all the mess,
we honor you, we stand, our hearts ablaze,
our ears and eyes opened, through your love we're amazed.
