A True Friend
In this life you will find that
Friends come and go in time.
Who your friend was yesterday isn’t
Always the case today,
some will be nice as pie.
While stabbing you in the back from behind.
Others will give their heart just to see you smile.
Everyone spends a life time finding that one true friend.
The only true friend you are guaranteed in this life
Is the friendship of your father in the sky.
He will never forsake you or leave you alone.
He will catch your tears as they fall.
He will understand and never judge
His love and devotion is the ultimate gift.
The sooner you take his hand.
Is when you’ll find your only true friend.
