A Tribute To My Murdered Friend

I would love you till the end
I would never be able to comprehend
Why your destiny had to meet such a drastic end
But as your friend, I would give you a warm parting
Letting the world know that your departing
Would be the starting of women recognizing
That love is not painful nor is it wasteful
Love is kind it's beautiful and faithful
Its not hateful nor is it fatal or distasteful
Love is grateful, pleasant and graceful
Love is loyal and it's gentle not brutal or bloody
Love is patience and its forgiving
Love never fades away with time
It’s stable and everlasting
Love is the healer of all time
It should not give anyone the reason
To commit any sort hideous crime
Love is gentle and kind
It is meant to be the healer of our time
It’s not devised to be cruel or unkind
How I wish for your sake,
I could reverse back time
Giving you a reason to make up your mind
To ask God for a little more time
For you to recognise and change
The things that caused you hurt and pain
But you are not fully to be blamed
Nor should you in death walk around in shame
For no one had foreseen that your death
Would have made it into the social media wall of fame
You are not to be blame
Farewell my friend R.I.P,
I hope in this lifetime your soul
Will travel throughout time
Finding peace in this lifetime.
