A Tribute To Mother
Mother our dear friend all our lives,
Clothed and housed us,
We were fed and well-educated,
Grew up in a peaceful environment,
Wife to our dear father,
Mother to all our siblings,
We thank you for the many years
of friendship and love and care,
An excellent role model as an educator
and career woman,
A friend on summer vacation and cottages,
An excellent guide all our lives,
The sacred Christmases together with our relatives,
We remember the beautiful house where you and father lived,
Watched and protected us during the happily married years,
The difficult divorced years, ,gave us shelter and clothes and food,
We will always remember your kindness and love,
When I retired you continued to monitor excellence,
I wrote the two books,"Living with God" and "The Sound of Christmas"
Remembering the years together,
God bless you in heaven, now that you have joined our father,
We will miss you this "Mother 's Day".
You will always be with us in our memories of you.
