A Tribute To Lyric Man

“The Maestro”

Tribute my favourite poet

Your pen is a baton orchestrating love’s orchestra with ink on paper
You’ve written a never-ending love song with my hearts in your audience
And I’ve been inspired to fall in love with every lyric your soul pours out

Your lyrics speak to my heart through life’s unheeding storms
I’ve been caught out in the rain and you’ve been my water-resistant fabric
On pitch-black nights, you’ve been my candlelight, and I bask in your warmth

So as the heart’s animated and tears well up to your love stories
To breath love like oxygen and to live like a burning flame in your fireplace
It matters not that I don’t know your face, but know that I’m overdosed on your love portion

As an aspiring writer, you’ve mentored my zeal and often directed it
Love is easier to feel than it is to reveal, but through your magical hands Maestro,
I’ve been touched by your musical genius to know and to speak the language of love

To the stars I’ve been, but your work of art always brings me back home
The past I’ve explored with a fine comb, but such eclectic words I’ve never known
A harmonious ovation, with my heart in your audience to a life of evermore heart moving performances

Thanks Jan...He’s a poetic genius, a Maestro. The heart is his laboratory, love is his experiment and lyrics his apparatus (:heers, Tbang
