A Tribe of Women

Im staying in the circle of safe women at work.
Staying true to my comrades who've be railroaded by jerks.
There's a trail of tears and pain mingled in our ranks.
We are teaching each other networking,
 for our survival and gain.
This tribe of our woman have so many strengths.
By sharing our stories through tears laughter and angst.
The individual will to break free, this community makes.
These weapons of our warfare these jerks can never take.
The power in this tribe no weakling will ever break.
We are doing this for ourselves and the next generations sake.

Was early childhood teacher for thirty years. My book in classifieds. Sample chapter on link. Called "Suffer the Little Children". Like the passion in your poem and words make powerful statement that cries out for a better way forward. Drugs and excess alcohol are slowing the advance down. Glad you haven't given up. Helen Reddy (70's singer) sang I am woman plus free and easy (best part of a good love is free and easy). Powerful singer. Your writing style is really quite good. David in NZ

Thanks David. My writing was lost for 30 years. I just got back to it. It is a passionate fire within. Thanks for letting me know I'm on the right track. I'll check out your book.
