A Tresure of Gold

The doctor came in talking in a low tone
So her husband would hear what he needed to know
And he knew she was ready to get out of here
As she laid in the hospetail be you could see
The scars and bruises to clearly on her head
She knew she was lucky she wasn’t dead
Her husband held her hand trying to be strong
But no matter what he tryied love filled tears
Kept falling from his eyes
But she made him smile
As they talked about all there memories they had shared
Sometimes there was laughter
Sometimes there was pain that was hard to bare
But in there eyes you could see the love was still there
And within there hearts they could feel the beat
Of a magical melody that they knew
And her ring was a symbol of their love and what it means
Oh- you know time comes and time goes oh so fast
So don’t be afraid to slow down and make a memorie that will be a
Tresure of gold from the past,
One that will last when your left behind
And time passes you by
Her husband held her hand trying to be strong
But no matter what he tryied love filled tears
Kept falling from his eyes
But she made him smile
She made him smile
