A Treasure At Christmas

My friend since it’s Christmas
Look under the Xmas tree
You’ll find a treasure chest
But I will hold the key.

Inside there is greatness
From acts of kindness everyday
And heard aloud is laughter
From the funny words of yesterday.

And then there is love
That grows stronger by the hour
With a touch of gentleness
Like that of a tiny fragile flower.

Put all these together
And by God it is all true
So here is the key
Inside you’ll find the treasure is you.
