A Touch of Whimsy

In the streets of seduction the crickets milk, While the caterpillars spin their precious silk. The sun is hibernating its blinding light rays, Moonlight streams to bring close to the days. Stars beaming down onto the steamy street below, Exposing in all of the corners the webs spiders sew. The symphony of the night when the sun retreats, With katydids singing to their own off tune beats. Open your window, let in the darkness of night, And lend a willing ear to the world out of sight. See the truth as Earth whispers, understand, This wonderful world made by Mother Nature’s hand!
