A Toast To Feeling Alive

See I look up at the endless azure Full of curiosity What is it hiding In the Hubble Bubble? Touch A cold embrace makes Shots of dopamine Send chills down my spine And a stupidly sappy smile Hear Birds chirp blissfully (Oh, how I long for such freedom) The wind whispers, the leaves rustle The icy streams sing sweetly Taste "The chai's a little off today.." (Well I'd like to see you try) A flavourful biscuit accompanies Along with the savoury peanuts Smell Food has a distinct aroma It's a toddler's ambrosia The raindrops merge with the earth The petrichor brings back memories

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
