Ronald Bingham Poet I do not know?

A Tired Old Lady

America, a beautiful lady who now is showing signs of age,
Weakening some from all the wrong, as her leaders have lost depth or any measures of gauge.
As they change or modify what has made this country so great,
No unity left as we all live mostly in an individual state.

We were a nation of God fearing women and men,
But God has been placed in the closet so others may come out and sin.
Prayer for Christians can now only be done at certain places and time,
My God is a gentlemen, guiltless of any and all crime.

Lady America has survived so far because God was there to lead the way,
Our allegiance, love, and respect was the way we were asked to repay/
But no, He is not wanted in our schools, our courts or any where a crowd gathers,
What kind of payment is that, nothing more than a basket of chicken feathers.

Lady Liberty cannot stand without God’s strength and love as he holds her precious hand,
Don’t tamper with Americas laws or the Laws of God, that is what has kept us strong and able to endure and freely stand!

God Bless America,
  And God Have Mercy On Us All

Cona Adams July 25, 2016 at 10:17 AM P. S. Since you've said "I do not know" as to the poetic form, this is a free verse poem. In free verse, you may rhyme or not, break the lines where you please, etc. as long as you use poetic devices, such as imagery, simile, metaphor, passion, and punctuation.
