So, what is the deeper spiritual meaning of a hummingbird? And what does it mean if you are visited by a hummingbird?

Hummingbirds often appear in your life after a season of big change, and they are a positive omen after a period of turmoil that signifies things are being pieced back together. You may have gone through a big challenge in your life recently that has forced you to confront limiting beliefs that have held you back. A hummingbird is appearing to you so that you can reconnect with your core essence to rebuild your life from a foundation that aligns with your true purpose. AN EXCERPT FROM : https://crystalclearintuition.com/hummingbird-spiritual-meaning/

________________________________________________________________

"Being visited by a hummingbird should give you a renewed sense of hope and faith, finally seeing the bigger picture, knowing that all your grief is leading you towards a higher path. The hummingbird is letting you know that everything has happened for a reason." from Crystal Clear Inspiration Website I do believe that it was in the springtime when I got a “small” surprise one sunny day. In fact, it was a special treat. I had just left my car. A tiny hummingbird appeared in front of me, just hovering! I almost dropped my jaw. It was the cutest little thing I ever saw, but in seconds, I saw the small bird flee. I learned soon it had not gone far. Its small wings beat. . . beat . . . beat as I stood at my sink! How I wished it would stay as I gazed out – glad to see it again. Wings were beating outside my kitchen window. Then once again that tiny bird flew away. It was like seeing something sweet - like a quick falling star! How wonderful it was twice in one day to see a tiny miracle to give me awe! Good memory. I love the little birds. They are only here during the summer and I have put out the nectar for them but I now have a number of flowers that are conducive to their being fed. When I had spinal surgery back about 28 years ago, I got a suction cup one to put on a window so I could see them while inside. Your visits to my page are so supportive. Sara

Hello Andrea … a delightful poem indeed Andrea. These tiny birds must add a warm feeling when being so close to you as they go about feeding - thank you Andrea - Lindsay

Just yesterday I was in my car listening to "Hummingbird" by Seals and Crofts. Loved it so much I played it a second time. It is a spiritual song as several of their songs are. This poem was a real lift, like seeing a shooting star. Beautiful.

This is gorgeously penned; I feel as if the hummingbird also honored me as I read; and I felt a strong spiritualism resonating from this poem. This one is a winner Andrea!

Always lovely to see these little birds up close, that would lift any spirit, and of course they are always attracted to the most beautiful Petals. Take care, Richard

Hi Andrea: How wonderful to see this poem. I had the same thing happen when we had just finished the major renovation of our home....it was 4 years of hard work and adjusting to a new life in a new climate and town. I went out to the mailbox and one hovered right up close staring at me. I was so amazed and humbled. Now we have them at our kitchen window with a feeder but up until that moment we never saw any. Love this. SuZ
