A Time To Unite

Yellow bugled daffodils
                              that trumpet in the Spring.
                              Tulips and the crocus
                              the hopeful hearts they bring.
Let April melt the icy chill
                              of hateful talk we spill.
                              And thaw out our differences
                              one people we are still.
