A Thousand Years

I haven't eaten in a thousand years.
I've lived off my pain, my sorrow and tears.
I show no love, I show no fear.
To me no one can get near.
I speak but am too quiet to hear.
Though what I say is quite clear, you for whatever reason shut your ears.
But please turn away from me because it is on my own pain I feed.
