A Thousand Mirages

A Thousand Mirages

My heart thirsts for the waters of
a thousand mirages, which haunt

My being relentlessly
And make me gloomy and miserable
by the day and night

There is no respite to my soul
from these cravings
that are playing hide-and-seek
With me.
