a thought flew past

A thought flew by

The weather is melancholy
the forever is not for us to grasp
dreams not be fulfilled
forgotten, not even to dust
On a day like this, life appears
pointless as one day we shall
not know we ever lived
Yet, we cling on to life because
we shall drown in the ocean
of endless time
