A Thorn In Their Sides

She did not know she was the worst kid
in middle school
until the teachers turned
on her.

It only took one
teacher, and then
it was two,

and then it was
three.

suddenly, she was
a bad kid.

She spent her afternoons
in the principal's office.
Because she smiled too
much.

because she had a
"wicked smile".

I could not have been more
pleased.
He was much nicer
than the teachers.

"What did she do?"
he would ask them.

"I just can't stand
looking at her."

"She smiles too
much."

"Her laugh
disrupts the
class."

It's quite the
compliment
to be this
much a
thorn
in so
many teachers'
sides.

Thank you, teachers.
Thank you!
