A Thing Called Dreams

Soon you'll awake and see
nothing here is as it seems,
all of it is an illusion
It's time to awaken from your dreams.
I'm going to count to three
then you must open your eyes,
and I hope that when you do,
you may see through all these lies.
To those things man called love,
their hand-made words have no meaning;
an invention of desperate mad minds,
crazed human dreaming.
Such a thing can't be real
Don't fall victim to the bigot and his fairytale,
can't you see it doesn't exist?
To perfect for such a world, watch it wax pale.
Take this life that flows through us,
murder us with this thing called love.
