A Test of Time
So sad she weeps like a willow
Tears no-one sees on her pillow
Heartache for those she couldn’t save
Pictures will haunt her to her grave
Lack of justice has been unfair
Corruption is too much to bear
It isn’t their lives on the line
She wipes tears to show she is fine
But distant screams can still be heard
They said, don’t you dare say a word
Courage brings her through the silence
She jumps over barbwire fence
She runs away, she runs real fast
A test of time to be the last
Only faith now, will the good rise
Above the wrong doing, she cries
