A Tear

A tear is a gentle way Of showing how I felt today It’s hard to speak as well When on our mate-ship I do dwell And my running tear That I did fear Showed to the world How our mate-ship gelled So farewell until the dawn When you will greet me on that morn And you and I will smile again Such friendships can have no other end. © Paul Warren Poetry
