A Teacher
Imagine being the one who wants,
To lead the sheep, the herd,
Imagine being the one who insists,
On being the one who’s learned,
More about the ways of the world,
About what’s right and wrong,
More about inclusiveness,
And making us all belong,
With words, ideas, thoughts of the mind,
Belonging to a much bigger plan,
Imagine being the one who inspires,
Helping us all understand,
To make us all aware of the wolf,
How to stand up and always be proud,
Proud of the person we grow to become,
To be wise and safe and sound.
