A Tanka Chez Nous

Summer past its best
pampas reaching heavenward
trees about to rest-
Japanese anemone
as far as my eye can see

'where we live' great choice for the title of this Tanka. I was taken by "Japanese anemone as far as my eye can see"...nice image in my mind. Loved it! CR
