A Talk With Myself

I spent some time with myself today and we spoke of things that were true we spoke of how sad the world is today and why I've been feeling so blue We spoke of not knowing my place in the world of feeling alone and lost then we spoke of something that made me smile just when I needed it most We spoke about loved ones of friends old and new we spoke of my old car "The Beast" then last but not in the slightest way least we spoke of my feelings most true Yes as we finished our talk on this day we spoke of my love for you.
