A Sweet Tooth

Far away in a candy cane world
With you name written across the sky
As chocolate cover rainbows
Reveals the true colors of life

Cotton Candy clouds
Laced in sugar coated raindrops
That have fallen into a river of carmel emotions

Although flowers that bloom
Like cake dough rising in grandma’s oven
Reminds me of big blo chewing gum

On how I crave those peanut butter cookies
That were shaped into little hearts
Dipped in honey nut

But nothing will ever top those lips
That taste of strawberries
The skin that smells of peaches
For which I feign for
She’s sweeter than any candy I’ve ever tasted
For you my love
I will always have a sweet tooth
