A Sweet Surrender

"Mistress of dreams,
The Keeper of the night,
Sweet Slumber in mine eyes
Come find rest from thy winged
flight..."

Whenever you are tired
To bask within yourself,
You might want to fall asleep...

Whenever you're idle
To explore the secretive mind,
You might want to fall asleep..

Whenever sad, sick or 'fraid,
Even so, to let thoughts cascade,
To escape to a different world:
To dream a little dream in faded
light--
To create fantasy in black an'
white,
To build, to break, to destroy,
Or just to find an unknown keep,
You might want to fall asleep....
