A Sweet Escape

In search of a sweet escape. 
Just a clean break. 
Take my hand and take me away from this torturous place. 
So i can hold my head high and set my mind straight. 
Where every moment that's granted is taken for what it is. 
A sweet escape to a place where hate fails to exist. 
Take me down a road where we can bury all our footsteps into the sand. 
Never looking back keep grasping my hand. 
A sweet escape where our eyes only look ahead. 
Where our fates our sealed only by our demands. 
Where the dreams that our minds share are more than just wishful thinking. 
keeping our heads above the tides with no possibility of sinking. 
A sweet escape where you and i can live forever and ever. 
Take me there where we will always be together. 
Walking down a path that leads to greener pastures. 
Leaving behind our past tragedies failures and disasters. 
A sweet escape where each of our hearts is the only thing we have to look 
after. 
Fulfilling our dreams. 
They are ours to capture. 
Take me away from this place that breathes hostility, negativity, and hypocrisy. 
Cuz i can no longer take it. 
The criticisms, the back stabbings, the betrayals that have plagued me. 
A sweet escape to a place where we can find nothing less than sincerity love 
compassion and serenity.
