A Survivor

The earth was hard, dusty and dry, Then, as we were driving by Out of the corner of my eye A bright blue flower looking toward the sky It looked so beautiful it made me sigh. It was a survivor; I wonder why?

Survival of the fittest. i do love this simple poem, Shirley. Monorhymes are fun and hard to write.

You have to wonder sometimes if it is the survival of the fittest or a sign telling us not to give up as anything is possible. (A mixture of both?) Take care, Shirley
