A Sunny Rain

As sunny rain
It is wanted yet too hot
A gentle paradox
That quenches and scorches

A sunny rain
It burns still I am wet
Droplets like embers
Sizzle on my skin

A sunny rain
As loud as the calm sea
A whisper that roars
In golden-hued sheets

A sunny rain
Hidden beyond the eyes
Invisible downpour
Of light and moisture

Caught between worlds
Of fire and water
This sunny rain falls
Embracing contradictions

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
