A Sunday Rendezvous

On a quiet Sunday, when the world hums softly, I find myself tangled in thoughts, the weight of yesterday's shadows pressing down, and light filtering through the curtains feels foreign against my heavy heart. I sit on the edge of our bed, watching you breathe, wondering... can we fall in love again? Can we piece together this beautiful mess, woven with laughter and echoes in every corner? You've witnessed the darkness that wraps around my mind, the days lost in fog, the nights of silent tears, and I wonder if you still see me; the girl who danced with dreams before the world stole my grace. Can we traverse this landscape, rediscovering joy in the mundane? Let's wander through our memories, revisit moments when love felt effortless, and laugh at our stumbles, lost in the rhythm of our hearts. So here I am, vulnerable and bare, asking softly... can we fall in love again? Can we weave a tapestry that embraces the complexities of who we are? Let's take it slow, allow this Sunday light to nurture us, and as we navigate this journey, I hold onto hope that love can rise again, resilient as dawn breaking after a long night.

My wife and I almost lost everything worthwhile due to illness, alcoholism and taking our love for granted. What we have now, after a period of enforced separation is much better than ever before. It took hard work and a newly won faith. Miracles do happen and relationships which seemed beyond repair can heal ...
