A Sunday Afternoon Nap

On a Sunday afternoon with rain clouds in the sky...
My favorite way to relax for a stressed out guy.

The grass is being watered and the plants are too...
And it's great to take a nap and dream about you.

The clouds are heavy laden and they spill their load...
And it brings back memories of walking on an old country road.

So I curl up on the couch and take my Sunday afternoon nap...
And cover my head with an old baseball cap.

There is nothing like a Sunday afternoon with rain clouds in the sky...
To take a soothing nap and be a contented guy.

Less stress, less worry, a time to renew...
A Sunday afternoon nap can be great medicine for you.

'...and cover my head with an old baseball cap,' nice! Marvelous rhyming couplets describing man's favourite pastime... once the 'honey do' list has been completed! Well done my friend!! Best wishes, Keith
