A Summer Song

A Summer Song On a beautiful summer night in late June, they dance to the rhythm of the stars and the moon. The warm sky plays a similar sort of tune. She's wearing a fairy tale wedding dress. She's clothed in silk and lace. She's the epitome of beauty and nothing less. Love and happiness are written all over her face. Her veil flows down from her crown. Less is more rings ever truer when she walks through her wedding doors. Her hem reaches delicately to the velvet covered floors. Her groom lovingly gazes at all that's his. At all that was once hers. This moment is all that truly matters. She hardly dares to breathe as their eyes meet. His passionate kiss is ever more sweet. She whispers to him, "I'm in wonder of all that's now mine." He smiles and whispers back "So am I," sweetly playing his fingers against her spine. He takes her hand in his; their fingers intimately entwine. This is a gift of love from the Divine. Like a bite of the sweetest kind, a sip of the most savory wine. They take a sacred vow, a mutual wish coming true in the here and now. A promise of old is forever told. Something so priceless can never be sold. Perfect hands reach out and take hold. Difficulty most often takes shape to herein mold. Courage steps in and takes over when the brave must be bold. All is right again when the heart begins to unfold. Take hold of this. Imagine its bliss. An opportunity one must not miss. The one true gift. It's a Summer Song. It's been sung all along. Right born of wrong. Light became this summer song.
