A Summer Evening 1

A summer evening

The senile sun still
burned us with the foul intent
Of its mid day rage
But, lacking in bite, gave in
Quickly to the taunts of breeze.

It tottered about
In the beach, ran its weak hands
Over wheat fields and
Rested awhile atop the
Banyan’s crown and went to sleep.

8th Dec 12.

This one is my favorite of yours thus far...wow, u sure gave the sun an attitude with its "foul intent" and then showed its fatigue only to rest in a most wonderful setting....great personifying! It's a form your should do more of! Off to read some more..............
