A Sultry Summer Night

A Sultry Summer Night

Moments merge, desires surrender
on a sultry summer night,
kisses shared with touches tender
melting mores with pure delight.

Lips meet lips as two hearts flutter
with a wanton steamy kiss,
causing minds to moan and mutter
with a sense of utter bliss.

In the darkness bodies mingle
tween the damp and tangled sheets;
deep within they feel the tingle,
hearts are racing, rapid beats.

Time stands still with carnal splendor,
passions reach that peerless peak;
breathless beings, moments render,
reaching heights their bodies seek.

In the halo of their yearning,
moments shared in love’s delight;
afterglow with calm returning
on a sultry summer night.
