A Strangers Message( Thank You)

I was looking through my mail today
and stumbled across great words of inspiration
little words, short words , powerful words mighty meaning.
Sweet words like honey comb running through my veins

I took a moment to listen, to reflect, to understand
these kind gestures that a stranger whispered to my heart
your kindness have inspired me
your words will stay with me forever

These are the words we depend on to comfort
and motivate our soul
Thank you for being that stranger I could rely on.

Wonderful write with a profound message, I couldn't agree more..Some days I am feeling so down and out and I come on Poetry soup and find a few kind words that just boost me up like("Ensure")-It just warms the soul and makes you feel so comforted and appreciated..Since I have been on soup, I have met some wonderful friendly warm poets with such unique talent who have become true friends.. I appreciate them all from the bottom of my heart..Lovely write, God Bless*Tyesha

What a beautiful poem, and you expressed the wonderful emotions I often feel while reading some small kind word in the little comment box. No one can even describe how warming it is, especially on a difficult day, to have the hands of kindness reaching through the computer screen. Bless the kind friends we have made here. Nicely written Patricia. ~ love, Carrie

This is an awesome write. It is so true and isn't it wonderful how here at Poetry Soup everyones comments, though they all start as strangers, fill the soul with smiles? You express the feelings of my heart so well here, thank you. This is how strangers turn into friends, I am thankful to have made many here at PS. Peace, Love and Light to you and yours. Smiles from Lolita
