A Story To Tell

Once there was a girl who heard about The Lord
Like I said, she heard but didn't know who He was
Life went on as it always does
Deep inside He was calling from up above
Times of tell and the tell of times
As we all do, I went on to live my life
Visions I saw and they weren't just dreams
Some came to be a part of reality
The Lord works in mysterious ways
I've learned to see that throughout all my days
I've lived a life being inferior to none
Not giving knowledge of The Holy One
He knew me before I ever was
I'm only still here because of His grace and love
A tale of a story and a story to tell
Trust and believe for we all deserve hell
Jesus is the light, the light of the world
For a lot of mankind only seek diamonds and pearls
The Lord giveth and He taketh away
None of this world will be here to stay
The devil seeketh to destroy and steal
Promises he may make, but none are real
It comes to me and I write it down
Understand and give praise for my, our Lord wears the Crown
All Glory to God and forever it shall be
For He's the One who created you and me
Smile, stay blessed and give Him Praise
For He is our help throughout all our days
A story to tell that's real and true
Let not your hearts be hardened to not see the truth...
