this story is incomplete

it has not been fully shared

with my countrymen and with my fellow citizens of the world

and through this art, and through this poetry

i intend to complete this story.

my spirit is soaring

and imploring you to complete this story.

I implore you to heed my words,

brothers and sisters

because this is a story that needs to be said,

this is a story that needs to be told

this is a song that needs to be sung.

But I defy the critics to call it anything other than poetry.
