A Story For You
I watched them walked up to the podium
To collect their hard earned medal
Their eyes were smiling and their lips were blazing
But there were no words to express how they feel
Their heart were bursting with zeal
And everything I saw was authentic and real
The world hath gather in one place to celebrate
The achievement of the human race
Smiles keep spreading on their faces
And it seemed to infect the whole human race
Everyone was cheering them on
And even the enemy was feeling sorry
They too felt the energy and relent
I am caught up in this time when
nature has come alive and diverge
To reward them for their painful sacrifice
Some did not make it
but their heart is celebrating it
Four years of preparation and training
Fell through the crack
when the baton fell on the track,
another one stumbled over the hurdles
and these are just some of the miseries
that they had to bear,
but there were miracles too
of how the other got through
They have come from all over
Standing in harmony with each other
Everyone holding a candle with
the color that they have chosen
There were lights everywhere
And tears of joy flowing from the air
Hearts blend together as one
to sing the closing song
I could feel the energy ignited together
As the world celebrate
the achievement of the human race.
