A Story

She told it to me
Only
*
She told a story
Her face averted
 *
She told it to me
Alone
 *
Tears coming down
On my chest
 *
She told it to me
Just once
 *
Have I told to much?
Now?
*
Picture a beach
Children playing in the sun
Picture a beach
Violent windstorm
Picture a mirror
Two faces in the mirror
Facial expressions changing
Like waves on the beach
Like seasons change
*
I can tell you this
Loved her
