This form is called a monotetra, invented by Michael Walker.
Each stanza contains 4 lines in monorhyme.
Each line has 8 syllables. The 4th line is 4 syllables repeated.
Lightning blazes across the sky,
Thunder rumbles in quick reply.
Gusty winds cause debris to fly,
While children cry, while children cry.
Torrential rains fall night to day.
Roads are flooded and washed away.
Nature's wrath causing much dismay,
While people pray, while people pray.
A rainbow arcs across the sky,
As stormy clouds go swiftly by.
The sun comes out the earth to dry.
Now comes a sigh, now comes a sigh.
