A Stolen Grace

A touch of grace
From a moment before
Dreams in dire to chase
Of times in denial to recall

Despairing becomes otherwise
Comparing returns in favor
Days and nights in disguise
Lives living when already its over

Shall not with words to hear
To think lesser of times in fear
When so far is everything but near
Of a blinded self will never dear

Divine without that which matters
Like lonesomeness only friends can create
A clouded mind forever bothers
When a self is no one to relate

Dreams returning to chase
Belonging in times if to recall
With a touch of stolen grace
Of moments forgotten to adore

What wonderful poetry I am reading today and so diverse. I have not read a bad poem yet today. I am enjoying reading each and everyone from old poets and new poets alike. Lots of amazing contest entries also. Thank you for sharing yours with us today Joel. Love, Carol

Smile ~ "Wow," I read this three times and it is soo very profoundly deep and, what I believe I can make out is that, when one forgets a moment in times of beauty perhaps then, grace has been stolen from their eyes and their lives? Smile, "Amazing Poem My Friend" ~ "Much Love & Warmth Always, to You & Your Loves," John! ~ Smile, "Have A Very Beautiful Day, Showered By The Moonbeams of Grace;" Bye!:) ~
