A Stirring Memory

In the sinuous paths of the garden of my heart, intense moments as medley of blooms, and assorted memories like sweet perfumes, are umpteen. But the one that flutters the strings of my heart, walking along with my beloved in the starlit night, hand in hand, down the snow painted road, at the close quarters, swapping volumes of feelings. In the dark, under the brim of fedora hat found the flicker of a smile that flashed in those blue eyes. Even today, whenever there is lightening, I mistake it for the same flicker, reveled on that day.
