A Statement of Truth
It is a statement made when you seek less,
Because your eyes are becoming wetter;
When you are no longer a "go getter,"
But someone who views things at their bleakest.
It is a statement made out of weakness,
Made while doubting that things can get better,
Made before you write that final letter
For someone to whom you start to speak less.
Now you remain silent, when others call,
And you remain silent as many roar.
Now you can only step, stumble, and fall,
Just remaining grounded as many soar.
Therefore, you are ready to end it all,
When you say, "I do not care anymore."
