Notes About The Poem
"IN THE BEGINNING GOD CREATED THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH AND THE EARTH WAS WITHOUT FORM AND DARKNESS WAS UPON THE FACE OF THE DEEP. AND THE SPIRIT OF GOD MOVED UPON THE FACE OF THE WATERS AND GOD SAID LET THERE BE LIGHT AND GOD SAW THAT THE LIGHT WAS GOOD AND GOD DIVIDED THE LIGHT FROM THE DARKNESS AND HE CALLED THE LIGHT DAY AND THE DARKNESS HE CALLED NIGHT AND THE EVENING AND THE MORNING WERE THE FIRST DAY." Genesis 1:1-5
A Starry Night
The Constellations, intricate designs,
Displayed across the sky,
Truly show intelligence,
And a practiced eye.
Not just scattered randomly,
But very carefully balanced,
Forming systems all their own,
Not happening by chance.
Extreme precision, mathematics,
Portend another being,
Enormous power to create,
A solar system teeming,
With life and beauty everywhere.
Nature at it's best,
Proves to us that God exists,
And that we're amply blessed.
