A Star To Reach

Can you reach up to touch a star?
Don’t you know that its way to far?
It’s unreachable to you and to all
Their stuck to the sky and won’t fall.

Best to see the stars late at night
The sun goes to sleep so stars are bright,
Always strive to go beyond your reach
This is something that you can teach.

Let the stars become your personal guide
Find your favorite; you’ll have more pride,
Stars are there every night, so don’t worry
It’s not you, you’re not blurry.

Pick out one star and give it a name
The rest will be jealous, what a shame
If you do reach up and touch that star
Put it in your pocket, you earned it by far.
