A Stalwart Soul
When wrath runs hot emotions rage within.
Explosive thoughts can occupy one’s mind.
The soul in anger justifies its end.
Soon, plots begin, influenced by much wine.
Grave danger thwarts mans soul because of sin.
Choose you, this day to live your life refined.
Let goodness overcome that evil urge.
Enjoy the peace that comes with faith sublime.
Imagine Heaven’s glory bright and rare.
Embrace love's strength along the path to God.
Find exaltation full of Father’s care.
Seek truthful wisdom while upon life’s trod.
Pure hearts shall find God’s grace awaiting there.
Stay strong and cling to the word of God.
Drink not death’s wine, but open up your heart.
Thou art a goodly man, a soul stalwart.
