While driving down a Texas road I marvel at the fields of blue, prescribed by springtime’s color code. The flowers always bloom on cue, as prompted by the April rain, and nature’s life begins anew. These rolling hills are once again bright blue as far as eyes can see alive with color quite insane. It makes me ponder, such degree of beauty that is known to man; it’s heaven’s gift to you and me. I treasure this the best I can, and with the world I’d like to share what I have seen since time began. The height of spring, a sight so fair, the Texas Bluebonnets beyond compare.

Oh, I so seldom see terza rima, this is a real treat. And it would be amazing to see those bluebonnets like you described. There is something about these things happening yearly that is so reassuring to us.

I think you are right Andrea, the seasons changing right on cue and certain things that occur within each season without fail give us a sense of security in this crazy chaotic world. I'm glad you enjoyed my Terza Rima; I think this form is well suited for nature writes. John

Hi John, You have penned such a beautiful write. The imagery and content are top notch. I love the springtime very much. I love to flowers bloom and the lovely colors in nature that the season brings. But I am biased because I was born in the Spring. This poem complimented the season very well. Good job:-) Alexis PS, So you're from Texas? I wrote a limerick about Lexus from Texas but I'm not from Texas . It just happens to rhyme perfectly with my name.

Hi Alexis, thanks so much for your wonderful comment and support. One of these days I am going to quit working so much and enjoy spring like everyone else. John PS: I'm live in Dallas.
