A Speck of Dust

take
a deep
breath

think how
very little
this will matter
in the
grand scheme
of things

when one day
as death comes
to claim you
you’ll be
well on your way
to eternity

"I never did mind the little things" - from a movie that had such a contrast. This is what your poem reminded me of.

This is the greatest lesson ever spoken. I try to live my life this way and see what is really important. So to all out there don't hesitate to tell your friends and loves that you love them.

Absolutely the best way to live life to the max and with no regrets.

Absolutely great advice! We all should remember to count to 100... As a Sage once wrote, "Be very, very humble; for the hope of man is but the worm." Happiness and Light, Gershon

How very true. The old saying: "This, too, shall pass." is apt here.
